Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant who recently dropped several new Chromebooks in India, partnering with Flipkart, has announced the launch of six new Chromebook models spread under four models in India. The new Chromebook laptops are Chromebook Flip C214, Chromebook C223, Chromebook C423 and Chromebook C523.

All four models come with Chrome OS and both touch and non-touch HD displays of at least 11.6-inch with 200 nits of peak brightness. The new Chromebooks offer a 720p HD webcam and a battery life of up to 10 to 11 hours on a single charge.

Powered by Intel dual-core 64-bit processors, the new Chromebook series includes 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and a minimum of 32GB of storage that is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. However, the specifications of the Chromebooks vary on the model, serving different requirements of people based on their workload.
The Chromebook Flip C214, for example, has been designed especially for students. It sports a 360-degree convertible touch-screen display, dual cameras with auto-focus allowing them to click photos and videos after switching the laptop in tablet mode. This model particularly comes with a military-grade durability certification.
The C223 model, on the other hand, weighs under 1kg, comes with an Intel UDH graphics card and offers several connectivity options, including Wi-Fi.
Asus has included a spill-resistant keyboard to all the new Chromebooks, and the keyboard comes with US MIL-STD 810 military-grade standard certification. Besides, they also come along with the Google Assistant voice-recognition feature.
