Virender Sehwag, India’s one of the star cricketers, has launched CRICURU, country’s first experiential learning website aimed at reshaping the cricket coaching experience in the country.
The AI-based platform aims to offer its users a personalised cricket learning experience. Sehwag, along with Sanjay Bangar, a former Indian cricketer and batting coach of the Indian Cricket team, has designed the curriculum for each player.

“At CRICURU, we aim at developing an ecosystem to democratise cricket learning in India and fill the existing gap,” said Sehwag during the launch ceremony of CRICURU. “Our curriculum is designed meticulously, providing access to coaching experts around the globe to offer an uninterrupted coaching experience for aspiring cricketers at par with international standards of cricket.”
“The AI-based cricket coaching platform also enables parents to become partners with their children as they work towards attaining the required skill set for a professional cricket career,” added Sehwag.
As international cricket reaching new heights in terms of technology entering the picture, it is required that India also joins the bandwagon to offer a similar experience for aspiring cricketers in the country.
CRICURU website is developed to help aspiring young cricketers learn to play cricket through master classes of 30 handpicked player coaches from across the globe with around four hours of collated video content with each. Learning is reviewed using customised artificial intelligence (AI)-led technology. India’s only experiential learning website brings live learning through immersive videos and interactive augmented engaging reality simulations.
