Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion are all set to launch in the Indian market on August 17, the company has confirmed. The Edge 20 will be available via Flipkart in the country. The phone debuted in various markets last month, along with the Motorola Edge 20 Lite and Motorola Edge 20 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 20 series debuted globally last month has an AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 108MP primary camera. According to reports, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be a rebrand of the Motorola Edge 20 Lite.
As per the company’s Instagram handle announcement, the handset will be launched on August 17 at 12pm IST. Teasers show that the phone will be 6.9mm thin and have a 576Hz refresh rate in gaming mode.
Motorola Edge 20 price
The Motorola Edge 20 was launched in Europe at a starting price of EUR 499.99 (roughly Rs. 43,600) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is expected that the model would cost the same price in India as well.
The Motorola Edge 20 global variant specifications include a dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola Edge 20 that runs on Android 11 with My UX on top and features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM as standard, support the phone.
The triple rear camera setup houses a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and an 8-megapixel sensor.
