Apple just finished off sending out invitations for its September 14 event ‘California Streaming’. Apple hasn’t disclosed what is going to happen during the event. However, it is anticipated that the company may launch the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, along with another bunch of products.
Sharing a short video clip that hints at the launch of an AR/VR headset, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP Marketing, tweeted, “We’re California Streaming on September 14. See you real soon.”
Like other 2021 events, the September launch event will take place virtually at 10:30 pm IST on September 14. During the event, iPhone 13 series will be uncovered from Apple Park, like the previous year of the iPhone 12 series launch.
Speculating the arrival of the new iPhone 13 series, the new iPhone are expected to come in four models featuring a 5.4-inch display on the mini model, a 6.1-inch display on the regular iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and a large 6.7-inch display on the iPhone 13 Pro Max model.
Besides, rumours suggest:
- This year’s iPhones will have an A15 chip, smaller display notch, enhanced camera, 120Hz ProMotion display support, and improved batteries.
- The biggest surprise could be the satellite connectivity feature that Tipster Mark Gurman hinted at in his PowerOn newsletter. This feature will initially be provided to select markets to offer connectivity even without cellular coverage.
- The iPhone 13 series is likely to come with an improved MagSafe charger.
Along with the iPhone 13 series, Apple may also introduce the new Apple Watch Series 7 with a revamped design. Airpods 3 is another product that Apple may announce during its September 14 virtual event.
