OnePlus 9RT, the latest smartphone in the OnePlus 9 series, was launched on October 13. The new phone is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 9R with triple rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Though OnePlus 9RT has been launched in China, it is soon expected to make its debut in the Indian market. OnePlus has also unveiled the OnePlus Buds Z2 with active noise cancellation (ANC) support and include 11mm drivers. The OnePlus Buds Z2 have a latency rate of 94 milliseconds — down from the 103 milliseconds latency of the original OnePlus Buds Z.

Price: OnePlus 9RT price has been set at Chinese Yuan 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,600) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,900) for the 8GB + 256GB model. Other model which in the top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 44,400).
The current discounted price of the OnePlus 9 is Rs 46,999 on Amazon. It was originally launched for Rs 49,999 in India.
Design and display: OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1300nits of peak brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus 9’s display is slightly higher with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ Fluid Display AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. Both the devices offer the same design but are available in different colours.
Processor, RAM and Storage: The new OnePlus 9RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which also powers the more expensive models – OnePlus 9 OnePlus 9 Pro. OnePlus 9RT has up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, similar to the original OnePlus 9 phone. Both the phones offer dual stereo speakers that have support for Dolby Atmos.
Battery: Both the models have similar features packing a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery.
Camera: OnePlus 9RT has a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, the same as in OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.
