Learn More About The Ban Ki-Moon Scholarship 2022 At MCI, Austria

The Management Centre Innsbruck is a unique international privately organized business school in Austria, offering rich opportunities for its students in terms of exposure, employability and professional training. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Ban Ki-moon Scholarship 2022 for Masters Study at MCI Management Centre, Austria. Supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a joint mission of the 8th UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and MCI, The Entrepreneurial School. 

This scholarship under the patronage of Ban Ki-moon allows students engaged in the SDGs to study and evolve at a prestigious university in Europe. The scholarship is applicable for the first year of the Master’s programme. The scholarship may be extended to the second year of the Master‘s programme subject to positive evaluation and successful completion of the first year. Eligible programmes for the scholarship include Executive MBA, Management & Leadership MSC, Digital Business MBA, International Business & Law, Medical Technologies, Entrepreneurship & Tourism etc.  

Eligibility 

  • For all Masters’ programmes: Nationals of Non-EU countries 
  • For all Executive Masters’ programmes: All nationals 
  • Students who have been engaged and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aim to further engage with and promote these goals during their studies 

Available for freshers, who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee. 

Application Requirements 

  1. Submit admission application to the respective MCI study program. 
  1. A statement (approximately 500 words) that recounts the applicant’s current (or past) commitment to one or several SDGs including reference to concrete evidence/documentation 
  1. A motivation letter describing the applicant’s future goals supporting the SDG(s) and explaining how their studies at the MCI will help them achieve these aims. The motivation letter should also explain how applicants would benefit from the awarded scholarship (financial aspects) 
  1. CV 
  1. Language proficiency 
  1. Passport copy 

Funding Details 

Selected candidates will be awarded a one-off scholarship of up to 10,000 EUR to cover (part of) the current annual tuition fee. The last date to apply for the scholarship is March 31, 2022.
