SubinaMuneer, collecting the prize at Indian Social Forum Covid Warriors Award Ceremony

The Kerala State Committee of Indian Social Forum, Dammam honoured the volunteers who actively participated in charitable activities during the period of Covid-19 pandemic. The ceremony which was held in the Dammam Holidays Auditorium was inaugurated by NameerCheruvadi, the Secretary of Indian Social Forum Eastern Province Central Committee.
Kerala State Secretary of the Forum, Ansar Kottayam handed over mementoes to Dr Abdul Kareem of Al Rayyan Poly Clinic and SubinaMuneer, staff nurse of Medical Complex Dammam for their outstanding support at the worst of the pandemic crisis. Apart from this, Covid Warrior Awards were presented to the volunteers who have served under the Social Forum’s Dammam Town, Ryan, Toyota and Qatif Block Committees.
Indian Fraternity Forum Kerala Chapter President SirajudheenShantinagar, Indian Social Forum Dammam Block President MansoorAlamkode and Toyota Block President ShafiVettam spoke at the function which was hosted by Kerala State Media Coordinator Ahmed Yousuf. Indian Social Forum embraces the entire Indian expatriate community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They aim to support the Indian expatriate community beyond regional, religious and linguistic barriers. The forum’s prime focus is the welfare of the weaker sections among the community by taking an active part in identifying their problems and helping them to resolve it legally. The forum’s activities are targeted to promote national integrity and communal harmony through cultural interactions, and enlighten the importance of unity, thus taking part in the nation-building process.
