The University of Glasgow is a public research university situated in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. Established in 1451, it is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world. The university holds an esteemed position among the best in the world. It is ranked 53rd and 67th globally in the 2020 CWTS Leiden and 2020 QS World University Ranking respectively.
The institution provides a research-intensive and diverse environment to its students. With a history of producing world leaders in several fields, its alumni include the economist Adam Smith, philosopher Francis Hutcheson, engineer James Watt, physicist Lord Kelvin as well as 8 Nobel Prize Laureates and 3 Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom.

This scholarship is awarded in the form of a full tuition fee waiver and is open to all full-time, self-funding students who are classed as international for tuition fee purposes. The scholarship is available for the following Master’s programmes: Environment and Sustainable Development, Financial Technology and International Human Resource Management and Development.
Eligibility
To be eligible, the applicants must:
be classed as international for tuition fee purposes
hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for September 2022 entry
demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a degree akin to a UK 1st Class Hons
Funding Details
Under the ASBS Global Challenges Scholarship, the selected students are granted a full waiver of the tuition fee at the University of Glasgow
How to Apply
Applicants must complete an online application form to be considered for the scholarship, only offer holders will be able to apply.
Supporting Documents: Submit a final or current undergraduate degree transcript (and an official translation), One reference on the headed paper, copy of your passport (photo page) – non-EU applicants only.
Admission Requirements: Applicants should meet the entry requirements of the university.
Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide a language test before starting your studies. The application deadline is 1st April 2022.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome by 31st May 2022.
