Hanken School Of Economics Offers Master’s Scholarship for Students from Developing Countries 

Hanken School of Economics, one of the oldest business schools in the Nordic countries, was established more than one hundred years ago. Today, Hanken is the only stand-alone business school in Finland. The strategy of Hanken includes profiling the School as a genuinely international and research-oriented business school with close ties to the corporate world. Hanken offers academic programmes on all levels (BSc, MSc and PhD) at two locations, in Helsinki and Vaasa. 

The domestically popular undergraduate programme requires fluency in the Swedish language. The postgraduate programmes are offered with English as the medium of instruction. The university offers several specializations as a part of the master’s programme, including International Strategy and Sustainability, Marketing, Humanitarian Logistics, Finance, Accounting and Governance and Commercial Law.

Applications are invited for GBSN Scholarship 2022 for Students from Developing Countries by Hanken. Hanken School of Economics is offering two premium scholarships to students currently studying at or alumni of GBSN member schools from developing countries for its 2-year Master’s Degree programme in 2021. 

Eligibility 

Candidates from GBSN member schools in the following countries are eligible to apply: Afghanistan, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Tunisia and Turkey. 

Furthermore, to be considered as a GBSN student/alumni for the Premium Scholarship, the candidate must be a student at or alumni with a university degree from a GBSN member school by November 2, 2020. 

Funding Details 

Full tuition fee for two years (equivalent to 12,500 EUR/year) 

8,000 EUR per year for living expenses
