The Queen Mary University of London is a leading research-intensive public university. With its history stretching back to 1785, the institution was ranked fifth in the UK for its quality of research output and its Medicine, Dentistry, Linguistics, Film Studies, Engineering and Drama departments were ranked among the top in the UK and internationally as well. The university is a member of the British research universities’ Russell Group, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Universities UK. 

Queen Mary has five campuses across East and Central London in Mile End, Whitechapel, Charterhouse Square, Lincoln’s Inn Fields and West Smithfield, as well as an international presence in China, France, Greece and Malta. Eligibility 

Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility criteria: 

It is necessary to have a conditional or unconditional offer for the London LLM programme 

The scholarship is available only for full-time students 

The applicant must have a strong academic record 

Both UK or International fee status is accepted 

The applicant must have applied for the LLM programme by 6 April 2022; 

The applicant must not be receiving funding from another source 

Funding Details 

The tuition fees for a full-time international student 

The scholarship is not payable directly to the successful applicant but is offset against the student fee invoice. 

How to apply 

To apply for this scholarship the applicant must complete and sign the online application form and a 1000-word (maximum) statement in response to the following: 

‘Please explain why you want to study the LLM in London at the Queen Mary University of London, specifying the modules you have a particular interest in. What you will bring to the programme and why you feel you should be awarded a scholarship; focusing on your academic and professional achievements (if relevant) and financial need.”
