ETH Zurich happens to be a premier public research university in Switzerland founded by the Swish Federal Government in 1854 to train engineers and scientists. Over the years, the institution has become a center for research and academic excellence and is ranked the 8th best university in the world by the QS world rankings, 2nd best after Oxford in Europe for engineering and technology. ETH Zurich has produced 21 Nobel laureates and 2 Field Medalists and is associated with famous scientists such as Albert Einstein, John von Neumann and Santiago Calatrava.
Currently, the Department of Computer Science at the University is offering an exciting Student Summer Research Scholarship for pupils around the world. The Research Fellowship programme offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain exposure in the research area of their choice. The fellowship takes place during two summer months and is open to all students worldwide.
The fellowship offers undergraduate and graduate students a tryst with research at an early stage of their studies. Selected students gain two months of research experience in computer science at a top international University and get to pursue a research project that aligns with a chosen area of interest and be part of a research group. As well as focusing on building research capabilities, the students get to take part in exciting networking and social events at the university. All expenses such as travel, visa and living are covered by the fellowship.
