Countries Accepting Visa Applications from Indians

Due to the second wave of the Covid-19 operations of a lot of countries, especially India came to a grinding halt. As the pandemic ebbs in some countries, they are opening up their borders and welcoming international travellers, including Indian tourists.

Here’s a list of countries that are accepting visa applications from Indian travellers, business personalities and workers. 

Bangladesh 

The borders of Bangladesh are open for A3, E1, and FE visa holders. This means Indian passport holders can now enter the country for business and tourism purposes without paying any fee for a visa. 

Canada 

 Visa application centres in Canada have resumed the passport submission service from July 5, 2021. Canada is welcoming Indian citizens who are fully vaccinated and they may skip federal quarantine and day 8 testing as well. The visa charges happen to be $7 (Rs 354), $100 (Rs 5,046) and $500 (Rs 25,230) for Electronic Travel Authorization, single or multiple entry and single or multiple entry (family with over 5 members), respectively to enter Canada. 

Croatia 

The doors of Croatia have also been thrown open for Indian tourists and business figures, and they are required to pay a fee of $69 for a visa. Although Croatia does not fall in the ‘Schengen Area’, it allows entry of Uniform visa © holders for two or multiple entries. Single Entry Schengen Visa is invalid to make an entry to Croatia. 

Iceland 

Iceland is also accepting short-stay visa category applications from nine Indian cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The applicants have to electronically pre-register the application on the Directorate of Immigration website before visiting the Embassy physically with passports and supporting documents. 

Morocco 

Morocco is permitting Indian business personalities into the country and charging Rs 4,800 as a visa application fee per person. 

Norway 

For Indian citizens, VFS has started accepting visa applications for Norway from Indian cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru. 

Saudi Arabia 

Saudi Arabia is also welcoming Indians to visit the country for business and employment purposes. Additionally, it is also allowing Indians for family visits. The authorities are charging fees of SR 453 for the tourist visa and SR 878 for the business visa. 

Switzerland 

This country has started issuing Indian visas for tourists and business people for up to 90 days. Switzerland visa fee for adults is €80 (INR 6,400), and for 6-12 years old children, the visa cost is €40 (INR 3,400). 

The Netherlands 

This country has also started accepting visa applications across six cities in India since July 1, 2021. However, only fully vaccinated Indian travellers are allowed to enter The Netherlands

United Arab Emirates 

UAE is allowing Indians to enter the country for tourism and business purposes. All Indian passengers halting at the Dubai airport for at least five hours are allowed access to a 96 hours Dubai visa to go on a short trip to the emirate. The single-entry tourist visa for 14 days costs Dh 550.
