Chevening Scholarship Can Truly Enrich Your Professional Life

Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarship programme that is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organizations. The scholarship programme offers interested candidates an opportunity to study in the UK for one year on a fully-funded master’s degree course. Successful Chevening candidates could be from any country and background, however, it is the passion, vision and skills with regard to the candidates that are accorded a high priority. There are many benefits for the candidates who get selected for the programme such as fully funded tuition fees, access to some of the best quality education in the world, exclusive networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the UK’s diverse culture.

You can apply for a Chevening Scholarship for the 2022/2023 academic year from 3 August 2021. Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Because these scholarships are funded in full (flights, accommodation, and course fees are all included), you are free to focus on achieving your professional goals and maximizing the experience of a lifetime. You can live and study in the UK for a year, during which time you will develop professionally and academically, network extensively and experience the culture of the United Kingdom. After completing your studies, you will leave the UK equipped with the knowledge and networks necessary to enrich your professional life.

Who can apply for a Chevening Scholarship?

The scholarship programme encourages the candidates to apply if they meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements. Gender, age (no upper age limit), sexual orientation, religion, marriage or parenthood status, caste, class, or other attributes do not matter for applying to the scholarship. The selection committee looks for a strong application conveying academic excellence and the capacity to thrive in an intense master’s course in the UK. Apart from completing your undergraduate programme, the candidates must have at least two years of work experience to be eligible for the scholarship. It is also compulsory for the candidates to return to their native countries for a minimum of two years after the conclusion of the programme.
