Who can apply for a Chevening Scholarship?
The scholarship programme encourages the candidates to apply if they meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements. Gender, age (no upper age limit), sexual orientation, religion, marriage or parenthood status, caste, class, or other attributes do not matter for applying to the scholarship. The selection committee looks for a strong application conveying academic excellence and the capacity to thrive in an intense master’s course in the UK. Apart from completing your undergraduate programme, the candidates must have at least two years of work experience to be eligible for the scholarship. It is also compulsory for the candidates to return to their native countries for a minimum of two years after the conclusion of the programme.
