Confirmed by Amazon Inc., Amazon Prime Day Sale in India will start on July 26 and end the next day. Through its fifth anniversary of Prime Day Sale in India, Amazon aims to help start-ups, small businesses, artisans, manufacturers, etc., so they can recover from the losses caused by Covid-19 and its subsequent lockdowns.
Amazon has disclosed that the sale will go on live at midnight on July 26, exclusively launching more than 300 new products from brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, boAt, Adidas etc. It also ensured that the sale would offer discounts and deals across categories, including consumer electronics, smartphones, TVs, and Amazon devices. Amazon and its sellers will be creating deals for the customers from July 8 to prepare for the two-day grand sale.

Prime members will get extra facilities to purchase products from SMBs and get 10% cashback up to Rs 150 apart from other offers starting on July 8 at 5:00 pm IST. Members with HDFC Bank’s credit or debit cards and EMI transactions will avail of an instant discount of 10% during the two-day sale. Amazon has also decided to provide Rs 1,000 cashback to those who will make a payment via Amazon Pay. At the same time, 5% of unlimited reward points will be given to Prime members on Prime Day purchases if the members use Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit cards.
Apart from these attractive offerings, Prime members will get accessibility to the world premiere of films like Malik (Malayalam), Toofan (Hindi), Ikkat (Kannada) and so on the Amazon Prime Video platform. The members can also enjoy watching the much-awaited second season of Hostel Daze, an Amazon Originals, released on July 23.
The Prime Day sale was originally scheduled for June, but the sale was delayed indefinitely because of the second surge in the Covid-19 cases in India. However, Amazon has finally decided to commence the two-day event, specially dedicated to Prime members.
