Green Visa
The green visas are offered to partners or investors, freelancers/self-employed, students and relatives. The validity of the visa varies from two to five years. However, those coming under the freelance or self-employed category should get a permit from MoHRE, have an annual income from self-employment of at least Dh360,000 from the preceding two years and demonstrate financial solvency during their stay in the UAE. As for the students, they have to be financially backed by approved educational institutes and require visa sponsorships from the university, parents or relatives.
Retirement visa
This visa is meant for people aged 55 and above. In order to acquire a retirement visa, the concerned people are required to plough in Dh2 million in a UAE property, possess savings of at least Dh1 million, or have a regular income of a minimum of Dh20,000 per month.
Job exploration visa
Foreigners coming under first, second or third skill categories according to MOHRE guidance are sanctioned this visa having the validity of 60 days to hold job interviews, meetings and business opportunities like establishing a company. Also, to be eligible for the visa, people are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree from one of the top 500 universities in the world.
