What Is The Urban Dictionary Name Trend That Takes Over Twitter And Instagram?

A new social media trend electrified Twitter and Instagram, with people amusing themselves seeing the definitions for their names, as defined on Urban Dictionary.

Urban Dictionary, founded in 1999 by Aaron Peckham as a crowdsourced dictionary for slang words, is made up of entries uploaded by anyone.

The trend asks everyone to “Show us your name in Urban Dictionary” using the new “Add Yours” feature. The “Add Yours” sticker rolled out earlier this month allows people to share their own photos about the trend in their stories.

With the latest trend, social media users have begun searching their own names on the site, resulting from flattering definitions.
