What All You Require If You Wish To Move From India To The UAE Without Hiccups?

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a hot and happening country with a lot of encouraging prospects for professional growth and it happens to be one of the most preferred destinations to migrate for people from Asian countries, especially Indians. Unlike the traditional powerhouses like the US or the UK, the process involved in migrating to the Gulf country is hardly cumbersome. So, today we will touch upon the vital things required in case you are planning to shift to the UAE from India. Kindly follow these guidelines for a smooth migration to the Emirates.

Secure A Visa

The first and foremost thing to have in possession while moving to a new country is a valid visa and this holds true in the case of UAE as well. The process to get a visa is not difficult as you might think, in fact, it is quite easy to secure a visa to go to the UAE. Once you book a hotel and apply for a visa via the Emirates Airline or a travel agent you would come to know that securing a UAE visa does not make you sweat at all. In case you have a USA visa or green card or UK visa, then you are eligible to get a UAE visa on arrival that is valid for 14 days.

Types of Visa Available:

There are various kinds of visas available in case you are planning to relocate to the UAE. But you need to ensure that the validity of your passport should not be less than six months.

Employment Visa

This is the most common visa for people wishing to move to the UAE. In case you manage to find a job in any of the emirates of the Gulf country then you can simply book a ticket and arrive in the UAE. All the visa formalities will be managed by your employer. However, if it’s an online visa (yellow colour) then keep in mind that you book a ticket to the emirate from where the visa is issued. If you land in some other emirates other than the one from where it is issued then you won’t be allowed an entry into the emirate from the airport.

Visit Visa

This is another popular method of obtaining an entry into the UAE and you can acquire the visa through Emirates Airlines or a travel agent. This visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue and can be extended before the expiry of the stipulated days by paying a nominal fee. However, you are not supposed to work in the UAE with a visit visa and if you want to work in the country then you need to get the visit visa converted to an employment cum residence visa.

Dependent Visa

In case you want to avail dependent visa through your spouse working in the UAE, then there are certain conditions to be met to be eligible for the visa. To get your spouse to sponsor you the spouse in question should be drawing a salary of 5,000 AED per month in the UAE. However, the spouse can also sponsor even with a monthly package of 4,500 AED but then the person should have an accommodation of his own as well. If your parents are in UAE, then also you can get a dependent visa but you must be under 18 years of age and unmarried. In case your children are there in the UAE, then they need to be earning at least 20,000 AED per month to bring you to the country.

Student Visa

If you happen to study in one of the universities or academic institutions in the UAE, then you can get a visa for the duration of your study.
