As the aviation sector recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic, the second flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates Etihad Airways will run a significant recruitment drive to employ up to 1,000 individuals with hospitality experience to join the airline’s cabin crew.
The airline will host international recruitment in 10 different cities across the Middle East and Europe, including the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Russia, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
If you are a non-Indian resident (NRI) living in the Middle East or Europe and somehow lost your employment due to the Covid-19, this is a great opportunity to be back in business. Before applying and making your mind to get into the hospitality industry, know the below things.
As per Etihad Airways, if applicants are interested in attending the recruitment days and joining cabin crew, they must register in advance by visiting etihad.com/cabincrewrecruitment.
Etihad is also welcoming employees who are laid off due to the pandemic, and they can apply through the airline’s alumni programme, which is presently advertising the positions available.
If you get selected, you will go under a comprehensive training programme in the UAE capital, maintaining all aspects of cabin safety and service delivery.
On your successful training, like other cabin crew members, you will be provided with tax-free income, company medical insurance, concessional travel benefits, transport, uniforms, fully furnished company accommodation in Abu Dhabi, and discounts on food and beverage and leisure activities in Abu Dhabi.
Here’s a complete list of city names with dates for the recruitment drive:
Abu Dhabi (October 11), Cairo (October 11), Beirut (October 17-18), Casablanca (October 26), Kyiv (November 2), Barcelona (November 2), Athens (November 8), Milan (November 9), Amsterdam (November 15), Alexandria (November 22), Beirut (November 22).
