UAE Extends Suspension Of Passenger Flights From India Till July 6

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended the travel ban on passengers from India till July 6 in the view of ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation in the country. The UAE nationals, however, are allowed to fly.

General Authority of Civil Aviation, UAE, has suspended all inbound passenger movement to the UAE from India till July 6, said Air India Express in a tweet.

Air India Express also added passengers who were booked to travel in that period could reschedule their tickets.

The suspension of Indian passenger flights has initially been imposed on April 24 after the second surge in Covid-19 cases in India.

The UAE had also imposed entry ban to all travellers those who had been in India any time in the 14 days prior to their arrival in the UAE.

However, UAE citizens, UAE Golden Visa holders and members of diplomatic missions who comply with the reviewed published Covid-19 protocols will be exempt for travel.
