TVS Motor Company is back with another 125cc segment bike, Raider 125 Sports. The company has launched the bike with a drum-brake variant at Rs 77,500 and the disc brake-equipped variant at Rs 85,469.
Targeting young customers, the new sports commuter promises to be fun while offering the practicality of its rivals. As the company claims, around 39% of its customers are young buyers in the 125cc segment, both in India and worldwide.
Built on a new global platform, TVS Raider 125 Sports will be sold in India, SAARC nations, and even Latin American markets.
Specifications of TVS Raider 125 Sports
- The new bike comes with a funky headlight, muscular tank, sharp belly-pan and split-seat set up.
- It gets a fully digital console that provides information regarding three trip meters, distance to empty indicator, Integrated Starter Generator indicator, gear-shift indicator and average speed recorder.
- With a 124.8cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine, the Raider 125 can make 11.4hp and 11.2Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
- As its unit is paired with a five-speed gearbox, it has a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 67kpl.
- A telescopic fork and a monoshock take care of the suspension duty.
- The braking system is carried out by a 240mm disc up front and a 130mm drum at the rear for the disc-brake variant. The new Raider 125cc is also equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
- Its right-hand side switchgear allows a rider to toggle between Eco and Power modes.
- Besides, the bike gets a side-stand cut-off switch as a safety feature, alongside other tell-tale lights.
- The Raider 125 comes in three colour options: yellow, red, and black.
