The Premier League can be highly rewarding and extremely stressful at the same time for the managers of the club. As long as the club is succeeding manager can breathe easy. However, a few bad games can make the managers’ seat too hot to perch. With the new season of the league kicking off in style, the managers are back in business yet again. But certain high-profile names in the managerial domain are looking for a new job/employer. Let us find out who they happen to be.
Zinedine Zidane
One of the prolific managerial candidates is currently cooling his heels since 2021. After his second stint with Real Madrid, he would only be more eager and passionate to help a new team get back to winning ways. Though he has been linked to a few big clubs like PSG, Manchester United etc nothing has been confirmed as of yet. It’s time for him to get back to action before the new season gathers pace. Let us hope he finds the right destination to ply his wares.
Thomas Tuchel
He became jobless last year after a decent tenure at Chelsea. He had a very good 2021 with The Blues where in he guided them to the final of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Also, in the same year, he led the club to the Quarters of the UEFA Champions League, where they ended up in the third spot. But fortunes changed drastically for him in the current season wherein after a few run-ins with certain players and unsatisfactory outcomes he was shown the door by the new management of the club. There is no doubting his talent and one can only hope he finds the place that he deserves the most.
Luis Enrique
He happens to be yet another exceptional manager who is yet to find a new employer. The erstwhile Barcelona manager recently resigned as Spain’s head coach after the latter’s premature elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He led Spain to the Round of 16 but they were stopped in their tracks by Morocco, thanks to the penalties. Enrique is unarguably an experienced and capable coach in the sport. His exploits with Barca; two La Liga, three Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League; stand testimony to the same as well. Let’s hope the 52-year-old finds a new club this year.
