Superstar Rajinikanth paid his condolences to late Kannada Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, who died on October 29 due to heart attack.
Rajinikanth has taken to Twitter on Wednesday and expressed his condolences writing in Tamil “I still cannot accept that you are no more Puneeth… Rest in peace, my child”. It may be recalled that Rajini himself was hospitalized at that time to undergo the procedure of carotid artery revascularization to remove blocks in his veins.
“After the treatment, I am recovering very well. When I was in the hospital, Puneeth Rajkumar died unexpectedly. I was only told about him two days later. Hearing that news caused me a lot of pain. He grew right before my eyes. He was very talented, cultured, compassionate and such a wonderful boy. He left us way too soon. And it is an irreplaceable loss to the Kannada film industry. I have no words to console the grieving family members. Let his soul rest in peace,” he said in a voice note posted on his Hoote account.
Puneeth Rajkumar was the youngest son of Kannada superstar Dr Rajkumar and Parvathamma. He made his debut as a child actor and has acted in several popular films. Many celebrities, politicians and fans mourned the actor’s sudden death and extended their condolences.
