Ola has been creating a buzz with its new offerings for quite some time and it shortly aims to launch its electric scooter. And one of the major contributors to this engagement is Bhavish Aggarwal, an Indian entrepreneur and co-founder of Ola Cabs. Taking to Twitter once again, he revealed 10 colour options that Ola Electric Scooters will be available in. He captioned, “A revolution in ten colours, just like you asked! What’s your colour? I wanna know! Reserve now at olaelectric.com. #JoinThe Revolution @OlaElectric.”
With the colour revelation, he also announced that the electric scooters by Ola are now available for booking as well. Although the bookings already began on July 15, the colour variants weren’t disclosed by then. Now, when the colour options are officially out, interested customers can reserve an electric scooter with their preferred colour by paying a token amount of Rs 499. They can pick any scooter among the wide range of matte and gloss shades from blue and black, the vibrant hues of red, pink and yellow, and white and silver. Over a lakh reservation has reportedly been made within just 24 hours.

Specifications of Ola Electric Scooter
- Ola Electric Scooter is expected to have a range of 100-150 km with a removable Lithium-ion battery
- Offers digital instrument console, app-based keyless access, biggest-ever in-class boot space cloud connectivity, good acceleration, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension upfront
- Its quirky exterior includes LED DRL and taillight, dual-projector headlamp, a hook for carrying luggage, a black-coloured floor mat, split-type rear grab handles
- Also comes with a large under-seat stowage, single-piece seat, external charging port
However, technical specifications have not been yet disclosed.
The price of the Ola Electric Scooter is expected somewhere between Rs 1.2 lakh and 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
