Telangana NRIs from all over the world have overwhelmingly endorsed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s intention to enter national politics, according to The Hans India. In a Zoom conference attended by NRIs from various countries, Telangana NRIs coordinator B Ganesh submitted a resolution asking NRI support for the TRS supremo and his foray into national politics.
At a conference held ahead of the TRS chief’s inauguration of the national party Bharatiya Rastra Samithi, all NRIs hailed KCR’s decision to enter national politics and endorsed a resolution in this respect. NRIs said that only under KCR’s leadership will India’s development be feasible, citing Telangana’s rapid growth as an example.
They expressed optimism about the country’s quality improvement. “KCR’s leadership is critical in guiding India’s progress.” They said that India is a country rich in natural resources, but successive administrations have failed to put them to good use to fulfil development goals. Except to stir religious matters, the Union administration has no agenda to address in Parliament.
KCR is expected to convene the TRS State executive meeting and publicly declare his move into national politics, according to NRI leader Mahesh. In addition, the TRS will be renamed BRS at the June 19 meeting. He plans to undertake a campaign to inform all Indian NRIs residing in different countries about Telangana’s progress and development under KCR’s leadership.
