Netflix Cuts Prices In India: Here Are The Details

Netflix India has announced its new prices with the mobile-only plan starting at Rs 149 per month. Earlier, it was Rs 199 per month. All customers can avail the new plans.   

As per the new plan, the Netflix Basic plan costs Rs 199 per month instead of Rs 499 per month earlier. At the same time, the standard Netflix plan costs Rs 499 per month instead of Rs 649. The premium plan, however, will cost Rs 649 per month. The plan had cost Rs 799 per month earlier.   

Through the new move, Netflix attempts to attract more subscribers in the country.

Netflix new plans, features  

The price change will be effective from December 14 today.  

The Netflix mobile plan, which starts at Rs 149 per month, supports either a mobile or tablet with 480p resolution. In this, you won’t be able to access Netflix on a TV or computer with this plan. However, the account gives access only to one device at a time.  

The basic plan of Rs 199 per month limits resolution to 480 p, but you can access the account on a computer and TV. 

The standard plan of Netflix, which costs Rs 499 per month, comes with support for two devices simultaneously. With 1080p resolution, the account can be accessed on mobile, TV, computers, and tablets.  

According to the new plan, the most premium Netflix account costs Rs 649 per month, with 4K resolution and the ability to access the app from four devices simultaneously. The content can be viewed on all four devices: a mobile, tablet, computer, and TV.
