Jaguar I-Pace Electric SUV arrived in India for pre-launch trial and road test

Luxury carmaker Jaguar Jaguar is all set to launch its first model in India’s battery-electric vehicle segment, named the Jaguar I-Pace. Through this, Jaguar is trying to enter into the luxury electric space of SUV electric cars. One unit of this I-Pace EV has arrived in Mumbai port. The I-Pace Electric has been launched in India for a pre-launch trial run and road test.  The Jaguar has brought I-Pace Electric SUV in India through the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai.

 The first Jaguar I-PACE arrived in India is finished in stunning Firenze Red colour. It is a top-of-the-line HSE variant. The car is equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery and produces 294 kW and 696 Nm torque. Only 4.8 seconds is needed for the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h. Along with the engine part of the car, Jaguar has also tried to make the exterior part good with the new Atlas Grey Grille finish, a luxurious new Bright back option, and a new range of wheels. The new Bright Back option is available in all the models of the I-Pace range. The cabin consists of a PM 2.5 filtration, which can capture all the allergens and ultrafine airborne particles, and this helps in filtering the cabin air before a journey. The I-Pace EV will be launched in three variants that include S, SE and HSE.

The I-Pace will be Jaguar’s flagship model in India’s growth and Jaguar’s vehicle for electric vehicles. ‘The I-Pace is Jaguar’s most recognized vehicle.  Since its launch, the vehicle has garnered numerous accolades, including over 80 global awards.  I-Pace also achieved all the three titles, such as World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year, and World Green Car in 2019, becoming the first car to have all three titles simultaneously in this 15-year history of the awards.
