Tickets to Dubai’s Global Village will now cost Dh20 if purchased at the gate, while online tickets will continue to cost Dh15.
The multicultural tourist destination will open on the last week of October for its latest season.
Aiming to encourage guests to use online platforms as part of its digital transformation agenda, Global Village has come up with a variable pricing strategy.
In a statement, Global Village said that moving towards online tickets is generous for the environment.
A survey on customers indicated that guests who used the Global Village mobile app during their visit last season had higher guests’ satisfaction scores.
The Global Village’s digital platforms are designed to facilitate and enhance guests’ experiences. The platforms also make it easier for customers to purchase tickets and services across the park.
The organiser has further enhanced the app this year ahead of its 26th season scheduled to open on October 26 with auto-recognition for car park payments, additional payment options including GVPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The app has also been updated with innovative features to highlight parking availability, product directory, ratings and suggested popular routes to enjoy the best experiences.
Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road of Dubai, the Global Village combines cultures of 90 countries worldwide in one place. It also invites aspiring business acumen to register their interest. The Global Village claims to be the world’s largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It gets more than 5 million visitors each year over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft.
Its latest season will last 167 days until the end of April 10, 2022.
