Elon Musk ‘Jokes’ He Will Buy Coca-Cola And ‘Bring Cocaine Back’ Into Circulation

Memorizing how it all started in 2017 when Elon Musk questioned how much Twitter would cost him, social media users aren’t sure if he’s joking or not. On Thursday, Elon Musk tweeted about buying Coca-Cola to reintroduce “cocaine” to the beverage and got 1.8 million likes.

Elon Musk tweeted on Thursday that he will next acquire Coca-Cola and put the cocaine back in it, causing a social media frenzy in the same way that Coca-Cola began trending on Twitter. In under two hours, the tweet received 1 million likes, 200K retweets, and 60K quote tweets.

Musk’s statement comes after he paid $44 billion for a 100% share in Twitter. While the tweet appears to be a prank, social media users are sceptical, considering Musk has previously casually posted the price of Twitter in 2017. And now, five years later, he has proposed purchasing the entire firm.

According to his Twitter agreement, Musk is not allowed to say anything negative about Twitter. The rest is permissible, and as a result, the world’s richest man is talking about various topics, including what Twitter should be like.

Twitter, in his opinion, should promote free expression as authorized by law; it should also be ideologically neutral, meaning it should be equally disturbing to both the extreme right and the far left. Elon Musk wants end-to-end encryption in Twitter DMs, similar to Signal, so that no one can spy or steal personal chats.

Returning to Coca-Cola, Musk made it plain that if he acquires the Atlanta firm, it would be for the beverage’s original formula, including cocaine.

“However, with a market capitalization of $284 billion, the soft drinks industry dwarfs Twitter. Musk’s net worth is present $253 billion, much above that of his nearest competitor, Jeff Bezos, who is worth $162 billion”, Bloomberg added his two cents.
