Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited film Kurup is all set to have a worldwide theatrical release in November. Earlier, it was speculated that the movie would premiere on an OTT platform. Srinath Rajendran helms Kurup, and it is written by KS Aravind, Jithin K Jose and Daniell Sayooj Nair. Wayfarer Films and M Star Entertainments bankroll Kurup.
Kurup is based on the fugitive Sukumara Kurup and DQ would be playing the title role. Kurup features Dulquer Salmaan as Sukumara Kurup, Kerala’s most wanted criminal. The film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne and Bharath Niwas.
Apart from Kurup, Dulquer Salmaan also wrapped up the shooting of Salute and Hey Sinamika. His untitled film with director Hanu Raghavapudi is inching towards completion.
