BMW Motorrad India has launched a brand new BMW C 400 GT in India, starting at Rs 9.95 lakh. The company claims that the BMW C 400 GT is a midsize ‘max’ scooter that has been imported into India as a completely built-up unit (CBU)
BMW’s front of the mid-sized premium scooter is aerodynamically designed with a twin LED headlight with LED daytime running lights and integrated turn indicators. It comes with a windshield, two glove compartments and a flex case under the comfortable single-section seat. The USP of BMW C 400 GT is that it gets keyless operation of ignition, steering lock, seat, filler cap and storage compartments.
Its newly developed water-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine is 350cc that produces a peak output of 34 hp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 Nm at 5750 rpm. The scooter can do 0-100 km/hr in 9.5 seconds and picks a maximum speed of more than 139 km/hr. The BMW C 400 GT engine comes with a directly integrated CVT gearbox and gets a drivetrain swing arm.
With a 15-inch tyre at the front and a 14-inch tyre at the back, the front Telescopic fork of 112 mm provides comfort for long hours. The C 400 GT gets a high-performance brake system with a twin-disc at the front and a single disc at the rear, and ABS as standard. The scooter is equipped with a side stand and a centre stand as well.
The C 400 GT gets a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen that offers connectivity functions, including the BMW Motorrad Connectivity app. It is also equipped with practical arrow navigation with route import and multiple waypoint guidance on display.
The all-new BMW C 400 GT is available in Alpine White colour at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Style Triple Black colour variant is available at Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). As the bookings are already open, customers can book the C 400 GT at all BMW Motorrad India dealerships.
