7-Seater New Mahindra Bolero Neo Launched At Rs 8.48 Lakh

The World’s largest tractor company and biggest UV maker of India, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has once again come up with a new model, Bolero Neo in India. The new model replaces the existing Mahindra TUV300, giving tough competition to Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport etc. The Bolero brand has completed two decades and thus far it has sold over 1.3 million units. 

Categorised under the existing Bolero range SUV, the carmaker has kept an introductory price of Rs 8.48 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) for the N4 variant.

With a 7-seater configuration, Bolero Neo is available in three variants- N4-base, N8-mid, N10-top- and seven colour options, including Pearl White, Diamond White and Rocky Beige. The company has hinted at the arrival of an optional N10 (O) variant with Multi Train Technology. 

The new version of Mahindra Bolero gets a revised design with changes ranging from a new six-slat chrome grille, reworked headlamps, larger air dam, a redesigned front bumper, fog lights, new silver alloy wheels, and a black tailgate handle. 

Crafted by Italian car design firm Pininfarina, the new SUV gets an updated safety technology like an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD), standard dual airbags, cornering brake control (CBC) and ISOFIX child seat. 

Built on 3rd generation chassis, a three-cylinder mHawk diesel engine produces 100bhp and 260Nm of its peak torque. The BS6 compliant engine has given a five manual gearbox, though an automatic could be considered subsequently. 

The interior of Bolero Neo includes a full-size seven-seat layout and the Pivi Pro infotainment system, a 48% larger 11.4-inch full HD touchscreen and Land Rover’s SOTA technology. The infotainment system incorporates a 12.3-inch digital instrument that portrays high-definition 3D mapping and guides the driver to navigate through the street. For the rear seats, Bolero Neo offers Click and Go tablet holders integrated into the front seatbacks.
