The Italian bike maker Benelli has unveiled the 2021 version of its mid-range adventure bike TRK 502 X in India. The bike is powered by a BS-6 engine and is priced between Rs 5.19 lakh and Rs 5.29 lakh ex-showroom. The indications are that this is a special price associated with the launch.
The main feature of TRK 502 X is that the BS-6 model is priced at Rs 31,000 less than the BS4 model. Following the launch, Benelli announced that bookings for the TRK 502 X Adventure bike have begun. The bookings are accepted with an advance payment of Rs 10,000.
The TRK 502 X comes with a three-year, unlimited kilometres warranty. The TRK 502 X competes with the Suzuki V-Storm 650 XT, Kawasaki Versys 650 and Honda CB500x. The vehicle is available in Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White and Benelli Red colour.
This vehicle has arrived without any significant change in appearance from the previous models. Mainly upgrades include backlit switchgear, aluminum-frame knuckle guards, modified mirror, and new handlebar grip. The TRK 502 X comes with an orange LCD and a backlit analogue tachometer. It has a new layout instrument console. The new BS-6 TRK 502 standard is 499 cc, and a parallel-twin engine powers it. This engine produces a power of 46.8bhp and a torque of 46Nm. The transmission is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The front brake is a dual disc of 320 mm and the rear brake is a single disc of 260mm and provides more safety while riding. The vehicle has a length of 2220mm and a height of 1480mm.
The 19 inch front and 17 inch rear tires are given to this adventure bike. The bike has a ground clearance of 220 to ensure easy travel on any surface, especially on off-road surfaces. The fuel tank capacity is 20 litres and is good enough for a long journey. The large windscreen is another highlight of the TRK 502 X. The rear aluminum box bracket is also fitted to look for an adventure bike and provides good storage space while touring.
